A shelf for everything you copy.

Ledge keeps clipboard history, dragged-in files, and screenshots on one floating panel. Search it, drag it back out, paste anywhere.

Copy now. Find it whenever.

Every copy lands in history the moment you make it: text, images, links, and screenshots. Days later, type a few letters and it is back.

Drag in, drag out.

The Shelf holds things you are not done with yet: images pulled off a webpage, files from Finder, snippets of text from anywhere.

Drop anything on Drag images, files, or text from any app and let go over the panel.
It waits for you Shelf items stay put across restarts until you clear them yourself.
Drop it anywhere Drag items out into Finder, Mail, Slack, or any app that accepts a drop.

Start dragging any file and a small drop tray slides in at the edge of the screen, so there is always somewhere to put things down mid-drag.

Small app, sharp reflexes.

Screenshots, both kinds

Shots saved to the Desktop and shots copied to the clipboard both land in history automatically. No more hunting the Desktop for the one you just took.

Paste in place

Click an item and Ledge pastes it into the app you were just using. The panel never steals focus.

Quick Look built in

Press Space on any item for a full-size preview, exactly like in Finder.

Private by default.

A clipboard manager sees sensitive things. Ledge is built so that it keeps as little as possible, as locally as possible.

Password managers are skippedAnything a source app marks concealed or transient never enters history.
History cleans itself upItems older than 30 days are removed automatically. You pick the window, and pinned items stay.
iCloud sync is opt-inOff by default. When you enable it, items sync through your private iCloud database. Nothing touches our servers.

Questions, answered.

What happens when the trial ends?

Capturing pauses until you enter a license key. Everything you already saved stays fully browsable and draggable. Your data is never held hostage.

Which Macs does Ledge run on?

Any Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

Do I need an account?

No. Ledge is a free download right now. Once paid licensing opens, checkout will send a key that activates offline in Settings, still with no account.

Is my clipboard uploaded anywhere?

No. Ledge stores everything locally. If you enable iCloud sync, items travel through your own private iCloud database, which we cannot read.
